Chapter 3 Wife Turning Into

Sister

For the past three years, even though Sabrina and Tyrone hadn''t made their marriage public, they''d lived together like any normal married couple.

Every morning, she''d pick out his suit and tie, and then they''d drive to work together.

In the evenings, when he was out at business dinners, he''d call her to tell her about his day.

At night, they''d fall asleep in each other''s arms, sometimes sharing intimate showers, always ending with a gentle kiss before drifting off.

On special days like their anniversary, Valentine''s Day, and her birthday, he''d surprise her with thoughtful gifts.

He was always ready to give her whatever she wanted.

He was romantic like that.

He''d done everything a perfect husband should do.

Hell, even she had gotten caught up in it all, believing those happy days would last forever.

But then Galilea came back.

And just like that, Sabrina could feel their perfect marriage crumbling.

Was that Galilea''s voice she''d heard on the phone yesterday?

Had they already been talking?

Had they spent that entire month together while he was supposedly on his business trip?

Did they come back to the country together?

Did he spend last night with her?

These thoughts spiraled through her mind, and Sabrina felt her heart sink into complete despair. Tyrone had broken her heart.

"Don''t worry, Sabrina. Even after we get divorced, I''ll still think of you as my sister, my family."

Sister?

They''d been married and shared a bed for three years. And in the end, he saw her as his sister?

How was she supposed to accept that?

"We''ll talk about this later." Sabrina forced a bitter smile and looked away.

Tyrone straightened his collar, fixing her with an intense stare. "By the way, what were you going to tell me earlier?"

Sabrina casually flipped through the divorce papers in her hand, a faint smile on her face. "Never mind. The new season''s clothing designs just came out. I was going to run an idea by you, but I figured it out on my own." There was no point in telling him she was pregnant.

"Alright, I appreciate your hard work." Sabrina was the brand director at Blakely Group, and Tyrone had complete faith in her abilities.

She was a natural at this stuff. Whatever she touched—jewelry, clothes, video games, tech gadgets—turned into gold.

"I''m just doing my job. I should get to work now."

Taking a deep breath, Sabrina pulled herself together and started to turn away, trying to keep it together.

"We''ll go together." With that, Tyrone headed upstairs to change.

Sabrina stopped dead in her tracks, a lump forming in her throat as her eyes filled with tears.

How could he act so casual—asking for a divorce one minute, then suggesting they carpool the next?

He didn''t love her at all.

"It''s fine. Since we''re getting divorced, you probably shouldn''t be seen with me."

With that, Sabrina quickly walked out.

She was terrified of breaking down in front of Tyrone.

She couldn''t let that happen.

After that night, he''d only agreed to marry her because he thought she''d be low-maintenance and never cause drama.

She felt guilty about the baby growing inside her. A child who would grow up without a father.

As she walked away, Tyrone''s brow furrowed.

When she reached the garage, she got into the driver''s seat but didn''t start the car. Instead, she opened Facebook.

After scrolling aimlessly for a while, something caught her eye.

Tyrone and most of his friends weren''t big on social media, but a few guys in his circle were pretty active.

Eddie Dawson was one of them.

Sabrina found a post from him at some dinner, with the caption: "Welcome back home, Galilea! Wedding bells coming soon!"

He''d thrown in a party emoji at the end.

The location tagged their usual hangout spot.

A tear dropped onto her phone screen.
